My question is why? Do you really hate Lebron James, with every fiber and ounce of your body, because, he flops? Because of the decision 3 years ago? His hairline? No let me guess, because of HOW he left Cleveland and not the fact he left? I guess everyone wanted James to bang his head against the wall in Cleveland for the next 10 years with nothing to show, instead of wanting to win. Whatever the reason, legit or not James is not well liked by the majority of people and you rarely hear a reason thats feasible. Now word is James doesn't win this 2nd ring without Allen or Battier, or without Wade...well they and the Heat don't win one without James either. It actually reminds me of similar things haters USED to say about Jordan...the imfamous "Jordan never won a ring without Horace" sign is something I'll never forget just because of the levels people were willing to go to, to throw dirt on Michael Jordan's name. Jordan eventually did win one (or three) without Horace, and my guess is James will eventually win one without
Haters need to realize 3 things.
1. James is the greatest single talent to ever step on the court and its not even close. How many Power Forward can you say regularly defends Point Guard and he shuts them down? Meanwhile he gives you MVP offensive numbers.
2. Hate him or like him he's going to win not 1, not 2...he's going to win more championships and there's nothing you can do other than what you do now...complain about the refs, his flopping, his lack of the non existing clutch gene, or whatever other resourceful excuses you can come up with. You'll also look like absolute buffoons doing so.
3. There's room for greatness...you don't have to hate the guy or be a detractor. You can actually sit back...AND ENJOY THE JOURNEY!!! You aren't going to see this again. At the turn of a hat, James could be a sad Tracy Mcgrady or Grant Hill or Brandon Roy like story, with a career that is cut short because of unfortunate injury or never reaches its full potential.
In the end, you need help to win titles. Players are drafted into their situations, that doesn't mean they have to stay there. Before I mentioned Ray Allen, who hit a HUGE shot in Game 6 to get it to a Game 7. If Cleveland would have signed or traded for Ray Allen at his current age when James was with the Cavs he would have been Cleveland's 2nd best player next to James...not 2009 Ray Allen, 2013 Allen would have been the Cavs 2nd best player...that's how sad and void of talent the Cavs were after Lebron. People forget James tried to get Chris Bosh to go to Cleveland before taking his talents to South Beach. Bosh (and who can blame him) didn't want to go to Cleveland. You think James took the "easy" way out, but he didn't. Nothing about what Lebron James and the rest of the Heat players are doing is easy. Like Former NBA partial owner Sean Carter said once, "Respect the game, that should be it. What you eat don't make me shit - where's the love?"
